On this page you'll find a sample of our programmes - and venues. You will see the programmes are quite varied, usually challenging and always interesting to audience and choir alike. We sing in a number of languages - notably Russian, German and Latin with some French and Middle English occasionally. We are fortunate to have several linguists in CCC who double up as language coaches.  

Following our tradition of singing in at least one new venue, we performed in the 11c church of St John the Baptist, Edlingham (near Alnwick), in July 2025 to an almost full house. The programme -

 Spring 2025 saw us returning to a regular venue in St Bartholomew's Church, Whittingham, where we performed to a good sized audience who were supplied with blankets, hot drinks and a heater or two as the church's heating had failed. The choir just managed to do without our coats for the performance of Above a Starry Sky - the richness of choral music through the ages:

In 2024 we added two very different venues to our growing list: St Mary Magdalene Church, Whalton and Ad Gefrin, Wooler before returning to regular venues at St Mary's Church, Wooler and Holy Trinity Church, Cambo for Festivals of Lessons and Carols

 In July 2022 we performed a short concert 'at home' in Rothbury URC to welcome Ukrainian families to the village. Performing John Rutter's Ukrainian Prayer' was a challenge but worth it when we were complimented on our pronunciation.

This page would not be complete without a Christmas programme. This one was performed in 2019 at Holy Trinity, Cambo and St Mary's Church Wooler. Both venues have become regular fixtures, not least because we don't just sing, but enjoy fantastic mince pies, mulled wine and much more!
