Following our tradition of singing in at least one new venue, we performed in the 11c church of St John the Baptist, Edlingham (near Alnwick), in July 2025 to an almost full house. The programme -

Totus Tuus Henryk Górecki
Now is the Gentle Season Thomas Morley
The Bee Frank Bridge
Weep you no more sad fountains Rebecca Clarke
This sweet and merry month William Byrd
Five Partsongs Op.12 Gustav Holst
We performed this same programme in Rothbury and Bamburgh

Spring 2025 saw us returning to a regular venue in St Bartholomew's Church, Whittingham, where we performed to a good sized audience who were supplied with blankets, hot drinks and a heater or two as the church's heating had failed. The choir just managed to do without our coats for the performance of Above a Starry Sky - the richness of choral music through the ages:
Tantum ergo (1843) Anton Bruckner
O Rex Gentium (2012) Matthew Martin
Pange lingua (1868) Anton Bruckner
Peace be around you (1888) Rosalind Ellicott

In 2024 we added two very different venues to our growing list: St Mary Magdalene Church, Whalton and Ad Gefrin, Wooler before returning to regular venues at St Mary's Church, Wooler and Holy Trinity Church, Cambo for Festivals of Lessons and Carols
